This Return and Refund Policy (“Policy”) forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions governing the use of the website, mobile application, and services of Son oF Rooster India (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”). By placing an order with the Company, you (“User” or “Customer”) agree to be bound by the terms set out herein.
1. NATURE OF PRODUCTS
The Company deals in perishable food items. Accordingly, all orders once placed and delivered are generally non-returnable.
2. CIRCUMSTANCES FOR REFUND OR REPLACEMENT
The Company may, at its sole discretion, provide a refund or replacement in the following cases:
(a) Delivery of an incorrect order;
(b) Delivery of products that are damaged, tampered with, or spilled;
(c) Delivery of products that are unfit for consumption;
(d) Non-delivery of the order due to reasons attributable to the Company;
(e) Missing items in the delivered order.
3. CONDITIONS FOR CLAIMS
To be eligible for a refund or replacement, the User must:
(a) Raise the complaint within two (2) hours of delivery;
(b) Provide valid proof, including order details and supporting evidence such as photographs;
(c) Ensure that the product has not been substantially consumed, except as necessary to identify the issue.
Failure to comply with these conditions may lead to rejection of the claim.
4. NON-ELIGIBLE CASES
Refunds or replacements shall not be provided in the following circumstances:
(a) Incorrect order placed by the User;
(b) Change of mind after placing the order;
(c) Delay due to factors beyond the Company’s control, including traffic, weather, or force majeure events;
(d) Minor variations in taste, appearance, or presentation;
(e) Refusal to accept delivery without valid reason.
5. ORDER CANCELLATION
Orders may only be cancelled before preparation begins. Once the order has been prepared or dispatched, cancellation is not permitted.
6. REFUND PROCESS
(a) Approved refunds shall be processed within 5 to 7 business days;
(b) Refunds shall be credited to the original mode of payment;
(c) For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds shall be processed via bank transfer or any other method determined by the Company.
7. COMPANY RIGHTS
The Company reserves the right to:
(a) Verify all claims before approval;
(b) Reject claims that do not meet the conditions of this Policy;
(c) Amend or update this Policy at any time without prior notice.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Company’s liability shall be limited to the value of the order placed. The Company shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages.
9. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India.
